Exercise at least one hour a day Since the beginning of fasting is an enormous change for the body and reacts with increased fatigue, fasters should rest more during the first two days and ideally start at the weekend. From the third day on, most of them feel more active again. From then on, you should move at least an hour a day to keep muscles active and the circulation stable. "Endurance sports such as hiking, swimming, cycling or light running are ideal," recommends Chiappa. "However, you should not go to your limits." The daily fasting schedule should include two and a half liters of water and thin teas as well as vegetable broth without the vegetables. This should get rid of the degraded toxins in the body. Gunzelmann explains: "The metabolism always produces end products that the body cannot break down and stores." These are released and excreted during fasting.

Almost everyone can fast All people who are healthy and do not have to take prescription medication can fast. Anyone who decides to do this should definitely inform themselves beforehand, because there are also diseases in which fasting can be counterproductive.
